Is there anyone around today that would be willing to take a look at my car, I am located in Shakopee, but I will drive to where ever you are located.

I have a loud wheeeeeee!!! sound coming from the front passenger side wheel, I am not sure if it is just something to do with my brakes or if it is a wheel bearing going out. I don't have a jack or anything to raise my car and i have never dealt with a wheel bearing before. So I don't know what i should be looking for anyway.

If you would be willing to take a look either shoot me a PM or give me a call.

    Thanks Guys,

    Shaun

easiest thing would be to first make sure there are no exhaust leaks that are making noises. is this a possibility?

Had that happen before, but that's more of a squeeeeeeeeeeeee kind of noise, like nails on a blackboard. Quick fix for it is to reverse up to about 20mph and stomp on the brakes. The rock should fly out of the gap in the shield.

It happens consistently when i turn left hard enough to really put wieght on that wheel, and usually does it when i go in reverse but not nearly as loud.

Hmmm... What kind of car? WRX? How many miles?

If so it sounds like brake pad wear indicator... I had the same issue with mine at around 60,000 miles. Sound would be noticed when turning left and it came from the front passenger side...

Nathan took a look at it as I thought it was a bearing possibly, but nope just worn out break pads was all... We cut the indicator down to make the sound go away until I got my new breaks. No more noise! ;)

Just a thought as it appears to be a similar situation...
