I need help with my wife's Golf... makes a grinding noise while driving and turns... I'm thinking it's the bearings on the hubs but does anyone have an online manual or can direct me for help on this? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks

tie rods would clunk not grind unless they are rubbing on something else metal and moving... could be bearing.. could be backing shield.... get under there and look... se ehwat you can find... if not take it by a shop..most shops will do a free front end inspection..
