After my softball game tonight I went to a buddy's to pick up his SLR so I could take some pictures of the fireworks tomorrow night. I was only going to be there a second and I parked in a well lit parking ramp so I locked the doors and left my sunroof open. I was just going to be a second but ended up staying around for like a half hour. When I came back to my car I noticed a car driving away with people laughing and a flash light from my glove box was laying next to my car. I open up my still locked doors to find all my contents of my glove box laying all over my car, my open wallet with money still in it and all the change from my cup holders everywhere. As far as I know they didn't take anything and I should count my blessings that they didn't break a window or anything it just makes me sick to see foot prints up my hood and to picture someone walking on my car and going threw my things..... I requested a police report just in case something was taken and I haven't noticed yet but there really isn't anything they can do. I am really not looking forward to washing my car and seeing new scratches but like I said I should just count my blessings! IDK why I even made this thread but I just wanted to vent!!! Man, I have no respect for kids these days. Self entitled, non-motivated punks, vandals, and low life scum. I'm sorry about your car, that sucks.
On a similar note: I caught my neighbors 14 year old and his 18 year old buddy in my legacy a few nights ago. He stole an ipod out of my friends car on tue, tossed my wifes car looking for valuables on wed, on thur i sat around and watched with my legacy doors unlocked. The 18 year old is now worse for the wear, but the 14 year old is just getting some Juvy time. He will also be paying everyone back..... What the hell is wring with people these days?
Thanks guys! I am feeling a little better after a night of sleep but it just makes me sick that someone would be that bored to want to mess with me and not even bother taking a wallet or anything from my car...
Dang, where do you guys live? Statistically I live in one of the worst neighborhoods in MN and I leave my car outside all the time and nobody ever touches it. Maybe I just have good luck?

I live in La Crosse and it is a pretty safe town I believe... After talking to some people in the area I guess this type of thing happens a lot and nothing is taken just messed with. My guess is that it is a bunch of kids bored or something... Lame
Yeah... Like I said I was only going to be there a minute and I didn't remember that I left my wallet in there cus my softball shorts dont have pockets =( I am just really lucky they didnt take that 10 whole dollers I had haha
Yea,........... I'm young and when I was younger I was a thief but most of the stuff I stole were from companies. So dont blame young people there just stupid people in side.

yeah I always worry what people will do to my car just because their jealous or just plain stupid, they better just not let me catch them
uhhh...don't just blame it on being young. When I was younger (in high school) I didn't steal anybody's ****! You were stupid, go ahead and admit it...don't just blame it on being young. I always hated when people would write off stupid **** on being young...not all young people are thiefs or idiots. Traits like that don't exactly disappear with age...
