I need to waste my tires.

SINCE I LOVE enterchanging my tranny parts and diffs....NOW it's REALLY TIME to do a donut. I'm going to put on my WELDED 4.111 rear diff on.....

SO if we want a standing RWD burnout, that can be seen...
OR if we want a AWD donut with WELDED center/rear diffs, that'll be fine too...

So ya, I wanna burn up these 16" tires that are on my 16" wheels. Then after this I'll be putting back on the viscous center diff and the VLSD rear diff back on with NEW diff fluids. FYI I'm RWD right now with 4.444FD.

The question is.....who has a parking lot that I can USE with permission? If there is no lot for me...then I guess it'll just be a welded rear diff and me doing a burnout at a private lot then.

No offense but if your really looking for some thrills, plz do in a controlled facility or sanctioned event.

I don't wanna do this at the local autocross event because they'll just boot me out.....I need something like AARRF again... I SO MISS IT!

 

^^ if you are runing 15"s i have a set (4) tires you can HAVE for FREE. they are no name brand, and will make good burnout tires (since they dont seem to have good dry grip to start with).

Are you really worried about the cops that bad? My roomate and I used to go practice drifting all the time in the huge industrial parking lots north of Dinkytown. Never had any problems with the cops, just melting tires. My 88 325is was a drifting machine. My WRX wagon is about as much fun box o' rocks in the same lots. I miss RWD... :-( 98% of the year, I hate having my AWD.

Just be smart about where you do it and don't stay there too long for somebody to call and complain.
