For the first time since 2012 I do not have a Subaru to drive anymore. It feels off.

    This is fun though...

It's okay. After owning 7 Subarus, the wife and I are looking at a Honda.

To replace our 2006 Impreza. We're still keeping the Forester. :)

On that topic, want to buy a 2006 Impreza wagon with 56k miles? It'll be for sale here in the not too distant future.

Subaruless here too, first time since 2002. Happened in October. I almost daily ask myself, why do I still come here? Comedic relief I guess.

    Civic SI Review:

Little tyke's first interior. There is a sea of hard plastic.

Seats are great if you're thinner than me. I'll probably get used to them.

Stereo is great. Hits pretty hard for a factory system. Actually impressed.

30 MPG average not taking a ton of effort to drive responsibly. This will be a nice bonus.

Sounds great with factory intake and exhaust. No desire for fart cannons.

It's quicker than I thought it would be, and I was expecting it to be pretty quick. The k24 actually makes enough torque to get rolling in a hurry, and at 200 hp it's enough on the top end. Vtac yo. The gear shifter is fantastic. Precise short throws. The LSD helps a ton pulling the car through and out of a corner. Body roll is there, but not terrible.

All in all the way the car drives makes up for shortcomings. Pretty happy with it.

    Plans:
    Rear sway
    Springs
    Wheels and tires
    Enjoy

Yeah, the stock spoiler is more than aggressive enough. I'd be tempted to swap trunklids with someone for one that is more subtle. But, I'm an old man.

I test drove an SI a while back and agree about the shifter. It's almost as good as a Miata's. Feels really good, especially after a rubbery Subaru shifter.

If I had a dick pic for every civic I've seen with an STI wing.... I'd be gaining ground on Anthony Weiner...

Car mags always rave about the skickity-snickity of Honda manuals...I've always wanted to try one. But then again you have Honda's F1 power unit. And WTF is up with the new Civic Type R? Makes an STI look like a Buick. And I don't mean that in a good way (for the Honda).

-Can't possibly be worse than a Subaru!

Seats are great if you're thinner than me. I'll probably get used to them.
-Time for a Derp Diet, I hear bulimia works too.

Stereo is great. Hits pretty hard for a factory system. Actually impressed.
-Some cell phone built in speakers are better than the Subaru stereo systems lol

    -That is awesome!

Sounds great with factory intake and exhaust. No desire for fart cannons.
-But you need to put a fart cannon on it! Its is the Hon-duh bro mating call! You will never find a mate with the stock muffler.

It's quicker than I thought it would be, and I was expecting it to be pretty quick. The k24 actually makes enough torque to get rolling in a hurry, and at 200 hp it's enough on the top end. -Honda manual trans are the bomb. You should swap a K20 head onto it for an easy 300+whp naturally aspirated! K20 head flows amazing and bumps up compression ratio. Stock K24 bottom end is super stout, people have gotten like 500whp on stock block with a turbo.

    Plans:
    Rear sway
    Springs
    Wheels and tires
    Turbo
    NAWWWZ
    Underglow
Air-ride stancenation slam camber stretched butthole

    Enjoy
