So today i got a wild hair up my ass and decided I needed a new phone, we can all guess which one I came home with. Now don't get me wrong the iPhone is super cool but when I got it home and played with it for some reason it lost all "ZOMG I need this!" that I have felt for it. I feel kinda dumb for buying it on a whim, I think the best thing for me to do is return it. What do you guys think? The magic 8 ball told me to return it 3 times if that counts for anything???
Except even more fail, because a proper one with 3G (and maybe GPS?) will finally be out in 3-5 weeks, at the same price as the current one most likely.
^ In a plastic case and more than likely more money, but that doesn't matter as you can tell I had no idea this "new model" even existed until an hour after I bought mine. But I could care less, I wanted a new phone and I bought one I thought I would really like. All I got was this $400 toy in my pocket that I can definitely live without.
Those phones are retarded. But then again, pretty much any phone that costs more than $50 is stupid. Take that ****ing thing back and next time you get a hair up your ass, go to the KTM dealership!
^ I like your thinking Tom, I almost stopped by Moto Primo today as a matter of fact. Although the bike I want is no longer made the way I want it I still want a new XC-W, yeah its going back Wednesday when I get the chance.
"obviously, you people just don't understand..." - Typical Apple Fanboy response. I have one, but I got it for xmas. I like it. But of course, with all Apple products, it's obsolete in 6 months :-/
I love my iPod but that thing is in my glove box 99% of the time, otherwise it is in my house putting songs on it. I would keep the iPhone if I really thought I needed it.
I love my DRZ though also, next summer after I get out of the clutches of Erik's and actually get a 9-5 and I can get out on the weekends I will. Or I can make that my goal this summer ???
Return that sh1t dude. You can roll a cheap a$$ phone like I do. All you really use it for is sending me dirty pics and talking. So why spend that kind of dough on something you're going to drop at least once a day?!
Yeah I should probably use the fact that I am now a hydraulic and pneumatic specialist in my favor ... maybe it's time for a real job ???
Dave - I am going to find another job other than Erik's in my field of study. We can still put hydraulics on the Continental, dragging frame is the only way bro!
 you need the continental first....some day you will have your low rider..until then why don't you two just get a room, you seem to be following each other around tonight...
Why do you want an XC-W? It seems that most guys who ride tighter woods prefer the XC instead. From what I've heard/read, the XC-W is more of a desert or open enduro bike.
I just want it ok! No it is pretty much the exact same as the previous years EXC. XC-W also has a lower compression ratio for lugging it down more, and a kicker just in case. XC = 5 gears XC semi-close-ratio XC-W = 6 gears wide-ratio Sometimes you just need 6 on the up north highways and fire roads.
You could get a shadow and have almost all the crap an i-phone does for half the money. I'm posting from one at the bar right now
The problem with the iPhone isn't the hardware, it's the carrier. Ma Bell still doesn't have the data rates of first run EV-DO, let alone Rev A. EDGE sucks, it's old tech. That phone doesn't deserve a data rate that slow. I feel the frustration iPhone users must have when I'm roaming in 1xRTT on my 6800. I guess you do have to sell your soul to CDMA though so it's not as great as it seems. Beware of smart phones because sometimes they're more smart than phone. Windows tries to overthrow the phone functionality on mine quite often. At least BBs and iPhones have an OS optimized for the device.
I heard a new iphone is coming out with 3G. also, t-mobile might get it eventually, as they already have it overseas. I am a former employee. it's a cool device, but I have a feeling that the better version is right on the doorstep. might want to hang on for that one.
True, the phone part seems to take the wayside on smartphones. I've learned to work around it. I like a windows mobile device since I can hack the hell out of it.
^ Not quite but sooner than later I hope, I have just started putting in apps. I will know if I am hydraulic specialist certified sometime next week or so. Either way I am going to continue to put in apps. On the other hand Erik's just gave me a schedule of Thursday-Sunday open to close everyday Monday-Wednesday off ... hmmmm.
