http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMC_Typhoon The Typhoon was capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds and could do a quarter-mile run in 14.1 seconds at 95 mph (153 km/h

a few month ago me and One of my friends went to a car auction and one if thouse trucks with 60k went for 6 grand it was compleatly stock and looked amazing. Used to be the fastest production trucks.
If I could just find the crystals for my time machine I'll be going back for one of each and a few Grand Nationals:yumyum:
Just think awd grand national. All the bolt ons for a GN will work for wither. Back in the day ar red rock, they were a hot items for a couple of summers. Even the bikes could keep up with a few of them. Mmmmm, the good old days...... Russ
Yeah, there were a couple that ran at Red Rock. I was big into the S-truck stuff for awhile, still will be if I can get mine running. In 99-01 I was running down there quite a bit with a '93 S-10 w/350, 2wd standard cab, dark green. Got to meet quite a few people there, it was definitely a good time.
Ya, and when I say the good old days, I am talking early 90's. Back when there was 8-10 SETS of cars waiting to run. Why would you get rid of the auto tranny?? Those things launched so hard out of the hole, your head was smashed against the headrest. Thats why those things where so fast, it took everyone else the rest of the 1/4 to catch it. Russ
the limited would get spanked, and if the typhoon had maybe 500 in mods, an absolute blowout, ive driven the 5.9, not really impressed. twin turbo 4.3 > nearly everything
i believe that's what fastmark was rocking before his cobra. I saw one at my buddy's dealership a year ago they had traded in. It was a good 15 footer, but once you got close the thing was trashed. Someone who didn't know how to paint or install body panels worked on it and it was horrible :emo: . I'd love to find one for a winter driver. They're still going for a ton. here's a newer craigslist of one with under 80K. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/car/373581198.html
lmao @ $12.9k for a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD gmc Jimmy on steroids. I'd totally rock one but not for that kind of cash.
