I'm down for friday and sat night, taking paypal yet? I'm outta vacation days or I'd be there thursday night too.
beth and I would come if we were not leaving that following saturday for mexico. need to save the money and start getting ready for a week away.
I am very interested. I will send you a PM. On a side note. I was just talking to a friend who heard some bad stuff about the ice up north. All the snow weight is what was causing the water to come up and make the slush which has made for some very dangerous ice conditions (ie not much ice, and bad quality). The track was fine as it was solid and thick, but there is talk of canceling the eel pout festival (for the first time ever), and many a fishing contest because of the bad ice. Also that there were a bunch of people (in the Orr area) who got there sleds stuck and frozen into the slush. Getting any snow off a potential track area to let the ice beef up would probably be a good idea.
there is between 26 and 30 inches in every spot we have drilled, last year at this time there was just over a foot of ice
Ummm.....I'm already packed and ready!? I will hold off on fixing my bumper until afterwards:biggrin:
I may be able to go and if people are going on Thursday I would be more likely to go Thursday and Friday and come back friday night or early saturday. I have off from around 10AM on Wednesday til 1AM Sunday morning every week so that would work perfect for me.
Josh and I would probably be down. Finances are really tight and my spring break is the weekend before so it mostly depends on that. If we go anywhere for spring break then we probably won't have $ to come up north. Care to move it up a weekend? If we do come up, then I would def be interested in coming up Thursday night if $ is workable. If I'm going to skip class on Friday, may as well leave Thursday night!
lol! Glad you guys can make it again. Did kevin get his jeep fixed? Are you guys planning to come for a day again or stay a few nights? You guys missed out on a ton of fireworks fun at the bonfire that night!
Its looking like I will be there for sure. Still up in the air how many people will be coming up with me though. Either way it will be a ton of fun. I am already looking forward to see what the new course will look like. Right... Lets leave global warming, or more accurately climate change out of this thread (and preferably these forums entirely). Its trolling for trouble if you ask me.
I will know in a week if this is 100% for sure, there still is slot of slush. I could allways fix the old course if people really want to come up.
i would say fix the old course if you cant get the new one plowed, we can just reverse the old course as well. maybe soften up the snowbanks.
I'm sure I could get the grader to come and wing the snow over. He would of came last time but I didn't want Him to bust up the top layer of slush that wasn't all the way frozen
^ That would be nuts seeing a road grader on the ice. Talk about a groomed course ;-) Keep us in the loop on if the second event is a go or not.
