I had a blast driving into work today. all the back roads were nice and slippery. I had forgotten what it was like since I have blizzaks normaly, but I left my neova summer tires on and went around some turns fully sideways. Almost tagged a volvo while trying to stop going down a hill but left myself an extra 50 feet, stopped about 2 feet away lol! Thats what volvos are for though right? Anyway, FUN TIMES as usual!
70s and a dusting of snow in the work parking lot = instant ABS when touching the brakes. I'm glad the sun is out. Bye Bye snow.
I found out last week how much fun (or not) Hankook RS2s can be in snow/ice. My Hakkas are coming off sometime in July.
lol, i put mine on last friday when i heard there was more snow coming. i said it before and i will say it again I <3 Hakkapalittas.
They're a riot, aren't they? It's been a long time since I was actually nervous about driving around in snow and ice. I won't be making that mistake again.
Yeah, they haven't been as bad as I thought they would be in really cold & wet conditions --- but if there's a small layer of snow on the road, watch out! lol! Driving home last night was somewhat stressful going around some of the corners on 94, hehehe.
