I have some spare paint laying around.... lets get rid of it.
if anyone has some spare rims around and want to do a quick color swap..
    or something funky
i'll offer everyone a group discount so I don't have to waste a bunch of mats.

60.00 for a set of 4 for a basic color swap black / wrb / red / blue / white
100.00 for a custom design on all 4 rims .... get creative.... camo, giant nips... you come up with it, i'll shoot it.

((Please help me out by doing what you can to clean the rims before bringing them to me... a completetly brake dusted rim SUCKS to clean and shoot... and it will take time away from your buddy who wants his done fast :) ))

already mounted with tires? NP... tires will be masked off and shot.. your tire might catch a tid bit of over spray, but i'll do what I can to avoid it... most likely you won't even notice it.

however for speed, if you can bring them to me off the car... life would be easier.
turnaround time will be ultra fast.

That would be me, but I don't exactly plan to use my rims for ICE RACING, so I may end up being exampted. I just got a brand new set of Enkei 17" RPF1 I have been trying to figure out what to do with. I am seriously considering having them painted. Fancy or not, just something really cool that does not stick out like a sore thumb would be anticing. I'll pm you regarding some addition items I need painted.

I have considered it based on some of the cars we have been looking at on Forzamotorsports website. We are still trying to come up with some graphics for the car so thats part of the delay at this point. I welcome anybody that has some idea's on how we should dress up the 240sx. We basically have the whole winter.

Future thanks is provided for your idea!

Yellow wheels with McDonalds logos on the hood and roof. "Caution: Handle with care," or whatever it says on their coffee cups, on the sides. Seriously tho, what are the current graphics options?

Great idea Sean! Is dark grey or gunmetal considered a basic color?

So do you media blast the wheels or anything before you spray them.

typically im looking at a 3 day turnaround per set of tires... The more coming in on the same color, the faster they will get their sets back

I won't be media blasting the rims since the paint on rims is usually pretty hardcore. Rims will be getting a coat of light etching primer that will bind hard to the rim. also to cover any exposed rim area due to rashing and other such meyham. The reason i'm not charging heavy is because I have no idea how the clear is going to hold up in the cold.... I don't think there should be any problems. this is pretty much the most hardcore test one can give a clear binder.

if you want a dead set for life paint on your rims and really want me to do a hardcore painting on them I would add a bit exta on the top of the cost and make dang sure your rims get painted.
(tires will get removed, whole rims will get a once over, whole rim in its entirety will get painted the color your looking at, and it will come back show room quality.)

this is more or less for your winters... they should look good for a few seasons while you trash them up and might need a re-touch.... its winter.... they will be fresh rims prone to whatever element you throw at them. HOWEVER, best time to do them is now before it gets nasty out.

I will start taking subie orders first thing monday morning since I now have a charger to do. I will post up a list with your name on it, and run down the list as soon as they are finished.

as soon as your rims are painted and cleared you will get a (curing - available for pickup) next to your name. it means the paint is on, the clear is on... it's dry to the touch and you can pick them up.. but I would recomened making sure they take it easy for a while since clearcoat cures from the top down.

fell free to PM me if you have any questions or other such meyham. :)

I've got my eye on a set of wheels that I'd need white, if I buy 'em.
Since we're talking about "spare paint" here, what shades of white have you got?
(I don't want any eggshell, grayish, purplish, offwhite, metallic, pearl, or other pseudo-white crap that would clash with my vinyls...)

How long would this take? I HATE the white wheels that came on the SVX and would be interested in having them put back to the stock silver or like a gunmetal gray. (I'm not 100% what would look best on a darkish red car).

At the moment the wheels have tires on them and are on the car, but the car is waiting on a part to be shipped so throwing it up on jackstands wouldn't be an issue if turnaround were under a week.
