i can leave when ever. i might even head upto duluth on tuesday or wednesday. although i am thinking about driving up with some friends from HS who are going, after they get off work on friday evening.
is it 5hrs drive?? that will determine when I leave... rather get up there late afternoon with some light to beat on the rex...
I will probably leave thurs afternoon/evening or friday during the day as long as i'm unemployed. If I have a job probably leave fri night.
I will let you know when my wife gets her work schedule. She asked for friday off but that does not mean she will get it off. If I could choose, I would go up friday during the day sometime. Nate we could caravan up there!!!

hey guys, i'm new to the forum but i really want to go up to the ice race. I know that the cabins are already full but are there any places near by that i can stay? I'm pretty young but i still wanna give it a shot and see what happens. What do i need to do to enter? thanks alot Andrew

I'm heading up Thursday afternoon. Matt, are you going up I-35 or through Brainerd? Come through Brainerd and we can caravan with 95lwrx and play with our Ham radios. Probably can still play with radios if you go up I-35. Either way I can still caravan with 95lwrx on Thurday afternoon, if he wants.

that would be cool with me, i work until 4 though so i wouldn't be able to leave until after that, but even leaving at 5 will put us at richs around 8:30

that sounds good to me. I'm not sure what they are all going to want to do speed wise, but me, se7enrex, and shorty decided we want to stick to the speed limits for the drive up. I just wanna make sure we wouldnt be wasting our time driving down and meeting you guys if we wont keep up anyways.
I will not be speeding (much). I am driving my truck, so anything over 75 and my gas mileage goes down to nothing. I think it would probably be better if I poured in in the intake with a 5 gallon bucket. Russ
