is it a track for cars or what? Its right by the big harley-davidson store in oakdale, a lake or river whatever it is, has a plowed course for driving on... anyone know anything about it?
There was an ice-boat race (wind powered sleds) as part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival. It was set for Lake Phalen, but often events have been moved off of there due to poor ice conditions, so maybe??? Could be something for snowmobiles too, many of the bike dealers also sell sleds during the off season.
There are a few ice tracks around the metro area that are used for studded dirtbikes. Perhaps this is one of them...I don't know, though.
