I was wondering since that lot is shared by other businesses. Taking away their customer parking may not end so well.
Just a follow-up reminder to pre-register your vehicle for this upcoming car show we're throwing! Email us at [email protected] and pre-register your vehicle! What we need from you are: -First Name -Last Name... -Year, Make, Model of vehicle being entered -What class you want your vehicle to be judged in (Forced Induction, Naturally Aspirated, Interior Modifications, Sleeper) -OPTIONAL: Secondary class you'd prefer (keep in mind we'd need a total of 15 other cars to open up a new class. People who registered for an optional class that has just opened will be moved over to the new class). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send us a message or email us! We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
I'm driving back from AutoMotion in the dells that Sunday. If I don't stay up too late that Saturday night, maybe I'll come by.
Hey everyone planing on being in the show, just a reminder to Pre Registration to save your spot- Name: First & last Car: Make, model, year Category: From the current choices *An unlisted category can be suggested, and if enough ask it will be added Email all info to: [email protected]
I am assuming spectating is free?... I may cruise by but my car won't be quite show ready or even driveable since I am going to be in the middle of my suspension over-haul. Sound like fun though!
With White bear Mitsu and MAP as our main sponsors I truely can't wait for this show, hope to see you all out there. We also got our first jugde locked in and I'll post about his history below. Judge number 1- "Long story short, I was born on a big block chevy. I was brought up in a car and racing family. My old man has been building race cars and show cars long before I was born, the torch was passed to me obviously. I've been tuning fuel injection for 15 years, and racing automobiles for 16years. Have built or had my hands in many show winning cars, and club displays."
Less then a month before the show, everyone who's going get to enter pre-registered?! - https://www.facebook.com/events/246675838843803/
Judge #2 (The Interior Specialist)- I've been doing car customization for 20 years, experience in; car audio and interior fabrication.
Registration closes tomorrow (Thursday) @ 8pm, make sure you save your spot by sending us the needed information to- [email protected] or message our Facebook page. -First Name -Last Name -Year, Make, Model of vehicle being entered -What class you want your vehicle to be judged in (Forced Induction, Naturally Aspirated, Interior Modifications, and Sleeper) Also jump on our Facebook page for more info on- Facebook.com/ICNcrew All registered vehicles make sure to save yourself some time and print off a copy of the judging forms for your ride’s modifications. We will have them at the show as well, but it is always easier for the judges to read it if it’s typed and printed. Also make sure you check out the map for your classes parking area and spectator area’s as well.
Must have NAWWSSS and neon underglow to be competitive. Also, airbrushed grafix will add points. jk, I think you would do well if you entered your car.
This is no restrictions, some cars are entered are built up nicely, some just tasteful, a some are dam near stock.
I'm going to be heading up with Randy Stern (who will have a '14 Dodge Dart GT) and the Southwest Sunday Cruise folks. Right now it's just a quick meetup at Shoreview Super Target. I'm trying to cajole them into doing an actual cruise, like the stillwater -> marine -> wbl route we did for last year's drive n' dine to Keys Cafe: Start on the far northern end of downtown Stillwater, then pop down 96 for the last "leg", for example: http://goo.gl/maps/TURY3
That cruise route looks nice. Let me know if you plan on doing that this Sunday, the ball and chain will be out of town and Ill be looking for something to do!
I'm highly likely to do it. I might just time it so I meet up with Randy's group just before 10:00. that's a really nice, relaxing route up the river valley.
Depends if I can sucker some folks into cruising around a bit before hand. Might try and plan on "ending" at target @ 10.
o rly? Needs more come out and cruise... Maybe I can talk Steve Rehn into coming out and we can facilitate a wholesale quantum implosion by having THREE modded 5th gen legacy's in the same place at the same time in MN!
I'd roll with the Leg's. You have a plan in mind that lands us at ICN's opener around 10:00AM? Weather is looking tits for Sunday.
Setup a quick cruise thread and FB event: http://mnsubaru.com/threads/cruise-to-icn-garage-opener-5-18-14.46357/ https://www.facebook.com/events/1409898989290947/
Hope you all had a good time, and nice placement Mannyapolis. This was our first car here at ICN and we can only get better from here with the support of our growing fan base. I can't say enough that we learned sooo much on how to improve at this point. Well thanks again for coming out and hope to see you all at our next events- https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/771183689575818/ https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/234368180088695/
Thanks @scottishsamurai, great job. Some suggestions for future events: - need trash bins scattered around the location. Also would have been nice to have some water coolers available, free Red Bull is good but after a few you tend to get jumpy - it wasn't clear at all that spectators could buy food tickets, I originally thought they were reserved for the registered people. - food trucks onsite would have been sweet. - would have been helpful to have a big sign at the lot entrance saying something like 'for registered vehicles participating in the show only', there were lots of cars that tried to pull in the entrance and had to back out. Also a sign pointing out where people should park temporarily if they wanted to register on-site. - It would have been super helpful to have the public parking areas marked with signs. - Also, having signs with arrows telling people where to go for what would have been very useful, starting at the major intersection on County Road E. Thanks again!
I drooled at the NSX. That little mini mercedes had a pretty killer sound system. There was a truck there that had may 20 TV's. Even in the head lights. Show winner has to go to the 370z with the red wheels.
