ok, heres the thing, i am basically taking a standard briggs and stratton lawmower motor and converting over to fuel injected milage master. the reason is i am involved in the Super MIlage car program and we have an amazing chassis this year so we are playing with new stuff as well. a little background on the build is that its a complete carbon fiber pan chassis with the motor mounted the entire car will be roughly 75 pounds, so we are willing to dump the time, research and money into the build to try and break that coveted 1k miles per gallon mark. I am incharge basically of our build and we have everything basically peg down, only thing left is for me to build and tune in the motor before testing and racing. i am taking the POS carb set up and replacing it with a more modern and efficent FI system, however i havent been able to find a stock automotive injector small enought and flow low enough rates to suite my fancy. I have my fuel system figured out, now all i have left is variable timing and then the ECU setup for my fuel and spark tables. anyone know of anything to run for my set up? its a one cylinder overhead valve(not cam) motor, we are going to be running basically a wideband to check the AFR and adjust the fuel and spark tables acordingly. any and all imput is more than welcome, also anyone interested in sponsoring please contact me.
    thanks again everyone.

Motorcycle injecctor? I assume some are fuel injected. Paint sprayer nozzle of some sort that is for very fine work with a soleniod? Just thoughts.

actually after about 2 more hours of research this afternoon i think i have a great idea of how i am going about doing this, NO pressurizing is needed, small amounts of fuel, i can shut off duty cycles and i can change whatever i want about the fuel on the fly. now, i would like some help figuring out a magnetic solinoid/valve...anyone?

    No idea on the solinoid...

are you going to use the stop/coast/start engine method to maximize fuel mileage???
