Well I went to Wisconsin and picked up my transmission, axels, and steering rack today. I was surprised to see that the car had MNSubaru white stickers on the back windows. The salvage yard said the car came in about a year ago.

Anyone know who's car this was?

Black Saab 92x Turbo with front and rear damage.

Man you are good!! I bet you don't hear that every day. :)

I think I will drop Saabaru a note to let him know that at least part of his car lives on.

    1300 - 2300

Most 05s were around 1800, oddly enough 02s ran higher around 2300.

How much will you give me for it? ;)

The plan is to take it up to Mayhem for the autopsy, after that I have no plans. The problem is that it stinks sooooo baaad I don't want to put it in the back of my car. I bet RS Motors still stinks due to my trans.

The only thing left that stunk was the drain pan I dumped the oil in. I used it for a couple of drains since then so the stench is gone now. The scap guy tried to take it today so I would get moving on picking it up.

not mine personally, but too good of a price to pass up.
Swaps Phil(guy I work with) has done, ej22 into a 73 bus, Forrester XT in a 71 type3 Fastback, in the middle of another 22 in a 71 bus, and working up a parts list for a 22 in a mid 80 watercooled Vanagon.
My beetle proved to be too "soft" for my SOHC 2.5 plans, so might have to find another over the winter.
