Well...what are you looking for in a car? At this point I'd take the WRX*, but later on in life I'd go for the Legacy GT I think.

*I'd replace the tail lights for sure

The legacy is more refined (quieter, overall better ride quality) and the power comes on much more smoothly. The wrx is way more predictable and goes where and when you point it. The power comes on "violently" in the wrx. The wrx is stage 2 tuned by bullwinkle on kyb agx's/prodrive springs. The legacy is stage 2 with a cobb sway package

I'd prefer the 2.5L over the 2.0L, but that's just me. The added refinement and space, etc just help seal the deal.

You would need to do a BUNCH of part swapping to get a real STi TMIC to work on an LGT.

Yes, LGT. Even though I'm a WRX owner myself. I love my rex, but given these options and the mods, etc... LGT

    But automatic?? FTL

If they're both autos, this isn't even CLOSE get the LGT. The EJ20 auto WRX is a weird car that really can't get out of it's own way a lot of the time. It's unresponsive at best. The 05 LGT was a quantum leap in automatics from earlier year legacys (I drove 04 Legacy autos and they were utter ****).

If they're both manuals, I'd probably lean towards the LGT. It's 5-speed is stronger and the 2.5L is smoother like everyone says. Also insurance is probably cheaper.

if one is an auto and one is a manual, I'd get the manual. Of course ;)

Aside from the engine differences, which have been covered, they are really quite different cars to drive. The LGT, quite simply, is a bigger car, and drives like one. It is more a "luxury sports car," where the WRX is a compact economy sports car.

Honestly, you are going to be happy with the power compared to your RS, regardless.

In addition, you could likely find a buyeye WRX for much cheaper then the one you posted.

Well that settles it. You buy the LGT and we will start an exclusive Apple Valley LGT club. We can start the meets at Cane's back up and get Team Jackets. This is going to be SO AWESOME!!! LGTLAV FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

For the love of god, DO NOT BUY THE LGT. That car was in our shop, the auction had to buy it back, because it was such a POS. Please do not buy it.

It had this problem when after running for a little bit, the car would just stall. We were never able to figure out what was wrong. A bunch of other little things here and there, its been a while since it came in.
