helix bellmouth catted downpipe with wbO2 bung. $200. this is with their metal substrate race cat. flange is the flat 3" style. fitment with oem style catbacks is fairly poor. i can coat/wrap/coat this for you if you want, just add $50. the 02 bung will come without a plug. i ran about 3 gallons of 50/50 meth/washer fluid through this dp last fall. (alchy kit) upon inspection the substrate looks in good shape, but i have no clue if it has been dammaged. dp definitly sold as is. add $15 for hardware. sold! Turbox Tuner VW non pro. $150 With 2 connect cable and 2 sensors. one sensor is brand new, the other has about 10 hours on it. NO METH or RACE GAS has been run on either sensor. one connect cable has been clipped/spliced. the other one is brand new with 10 hours on it. sold! thanks Bryan! stock sti vf39 turbo. $200 has hairline crack in exhaust housing. ran 19psi for quite a while. no meth. first allocation unit. sold as is. SOLD! thanks pat! i live out west of mpls. we can either do pick up, arrange a meeting somewhere, or i can ship them out to you. the turbo is currently at my friends house. that might take a few extra days for me to get to you. -aaron
downpipe wise, this should fit an aftermarket exhuast pretty good assuming it 3 inch? I could most likely take it off your hands.
just to let everyone know...typically the hairline cracks in the vf39 DONT hinder performance and if small enough shouldnt cause any type of failure for a long while. just thought i'd throw that out there since most ppl see crack and get scared.
those helix catted DPs are UBER rare. they havent produced many of em so they are back ordered everywhere. (or atleast were when iw as shopping for em int eh fall).
Approx how many miles are on the turbo? Are STi turbos prone to cracking or was it something you did? Can the "crack" be repaired with a weld? Pics would be appreciated. Thanks!
mid to low 20k on the turbo. there have been alot of sti guys with the hairline cracks. you could mill it out and weld back in fill... but the general consencious on nasioc is, "dont bother." no pix right now.
it's installed right now. i was planning on pulling it off tonight or tomarrow night. you could pick it up anythime next week. the sensor is mounted on the side of the bellmouth on the dp. the display takes up almost an entire din slot. and if you have seen matt's install, mine looks allot like that... but the non pro tuna is larger than the pro, so i could not use the stock sti din pocket/trim...
I've seen pics of the vf39s on nasioc & have read posts from people stating that they are unable to reach normal boost pressures. If you could get pics of the vf39 that you're selling, that'll be great! I'd like to see if it's something I can repair myself. What's the least you'll let it go for? PM me. Thanks!
i had no problems running 19psi on the turbo. i will see about getting some pix shot. $200 is a smoking deal on a vf39... most cracked units go for $300+
