    So much over-the-top crap. I love me some high-speed slow-mo (especially all that beautiful tire smoke) and all the driving skill involved, but they almost tried to force too many... "accessories" into it.

    Can't complain though, still awesome that he can do that, and it's HIS JOB. Jealous.

    Yea I agree, I loved all the slow-mo stuff, and drifting over the balloons and lights but when he drifted under the semi trailer and it exploded I was like hmm bit too much of a special effect. But I gotta say he's amazing and overall the video was great!

    This is similar to playing Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter back when I was little. I used to want to go outside with my cousin after and fight.

    Now, I just want to drive like this to work tomorrow (attempt at least). ;)

    Pure Sex. That was a great video. Thanks for posting it up. I really like the slow motion shots where all 4 are spinning. I like how you can read DC off of the wheel spokes while they are spinning.

    idk about this one. it was very very repetitive.... same kind of turns over and over and over. some of it seemed over the top. im not ripping on his driving skill because hes waaay better than i am but look at how many skidmarks are on the ground. its not like he just went out and did that all in order at once without changing tires or messing up a lot. the first video was a lot better because it was just cool driving. the new video is too much flashy video stunts.

    rhys millen could do the same stuff too.

    Ojibwe foreests last year, he left the hotel pouting in his retal SUV cause he didn't wanna ride with the team and suffer all the humilliation of totaly biffing a suabru rally team 1st and 2nd finish....

    maybe he'll be more level headed this year?:laugh:

    I hope not, he sure is fun to watch!

    I liked the video, but I think I preferred the first. This one just seemed too overdone. I liked the original because it seemed a little more raw, and more focused on the car and driver. This one seemed to get away from that a bit. I'm not saying he's not talented or that it wasn't entertaining, because it's full of win on both counts. I just preferred the first.

    On a related note, the only other driving video I've enjoyed as much as these was Star in the BMW Films. That makes me want to steal Etchy's M5 and take some tread off his tires :yumyum:

    I was going to ask for his autograph that morning in the hall at the hotel, he looked so pissed, and I thought he wanted to be anyone but Ken Block at that moment, so I didn't ask, I just kept walking like I didn't know who he was.

    No hate, just admiration for the guy, his kids where so cute..... and he is actualy anice guy in person,....but boy did he botch the Ojibwe Forests rally.:rolleyes:

    Yeah, me and pksublime were marshalling the checkpoint 1/2 a mile ahead of where he crashed and Boomer and his wife were at the marshall point just before that spot. His wife was PISSED when she came through later :laugh:. Too bad matchbx isn't on here anymore. I think he helped extract him that night. I'm sure he has some funny stories.

    Anyone have more info on the car or the build?
