It's been a few years since I've been on here, was never really active since I was so busy at the time. I sold my old 01 limited obw almost 3 years ago now. I've missed being in a Subaru ever since. I got into a Volvo S60R that I believed would fill the void but it just didn't. After keeping an eye out for a unicorn ( 2nd gen h6 outback sedan) and not being able to find one I wanted to pay for I settled on something else. I found a 2000 legacy GT limited 5mt for pretty cheap with basically new tires. Maybe not the best deal but it had the options I wanted. Came home needing an engine (stripped head bolt hole) have been collecting parts and such to make it exactly what I want and to get it back on the road. I'm excited to drive it. The S60 is probably going to be jealous now.
This project took an interesting turn when I found an 01 L.L.Bean at U Pull R Parts last week... Any locals familiar with this swap? Especially pertaining to the 5mt aspects of it?
