I believe that is most commonly referred to as a "scam."

    Scam, scam, scam, scam.

    - Even the price says scam. $8k is the target range for these things.

    - "I HAVE PROBLEMS RECEIVING MY MESSAGES." Uh huh. They don't want any direct contact that would be traceable. And make it clear they're not in MN, or probably even in the country.

    - No VIN.

    - If you do a little searching you will see that this car was for "sale" in Winnipeg in July.

Right. The car doesn't exist. Or rather, it exists somewhere, but the guy "selling" it has never owned it, or seen it in person, just grabbed photos off the web.

scam....if you email the dude, he will end up telling you the car is overseas and cannot keep it due to emissions laws. also he will ask for address and bank info and stuff. odd to see someone take the time to put these ads up anywhere other than craigslist. strangely enough, out of all of the car sites, autotrader is the only one that I have seen with things like this in the past...and craigslist. the others don't seem to get it as much. funny. who would spend that kind of money on all of that paint. wow
