I'm so Lucky

This morning on my way to work I did what I normally do I take 77(cedar) south to the 66th street exit go down the exit ramp, run the stop sign and proceed to drive at about 50mph to the light at 66th. Well today was different as soon as I zipped thru the stop sign and travel about a block I pass a richfield cop who whips a u-turn in the street and proceeds to follow me to the light where I stop (it was red) as soon as the light turns green the cops lights come on and he pulls me over. Uh oh I think he can nail me to the wall for what I just did. He takes my license asks me why I'm in a hurry and tells me to wait. About 15 seconds later he comes back hands me my license back and tells me to have a nice day. WOW I'm Very Lucky. I wish every time I got pulled ove was like this.

 

You should have gotten a ticket.. running stop signs is plain dumb.

 

I know I actually should have gotten 2 tickets. 1 for speeding and 1 for the stop sign.

 

Count your blessing cause you never know what will happen the next time you get stop.

Since I got my car, I've been stopped 4 time in the highway for speeding and twice at "O" and I tell ya, no ticket so far... but I don't plan to get stop the next time knowing my blessing may run out on me.

I'm sure the lucky force was with me, but like you said who knows when it will run out. I'm going to drive better I don't need any tickets.

hey same thing happened to me too, I got pulled over once for not stopping completely and for speeding at the same time, but yet I got away with it. The police somehow just let me go, I guess I was quite lucky like you too. But of course, like yosmiley said, you never know when you run out of blessings.

 

He prolly got another, more important, call over the radio while running your plates and license. That's about the only reason he'd let you off
