impreza, FINALLY!

    sooooooooo! I am back from Montana with a big surprise!

    I GOT IT! we drove from north Montana to calgary, edmonton and then back to minneapolis thru Saskatoon and Regina. ****ing long drive but we made it.

    now I look forward to meet some of you guys and get a few things done.

    - decide on a license plate and go to the DMV
    - go to a carwash, there's one on central that uses cloths or go to a touchless holiday.
    - put on SUMMER tires.
    - decide which of the extra parts I got I wanna sell.

    the car was an auto, the owner wanted $9,000 originally, but then reduced the price because wanted to buy a 08 STI, which he did last weekend. I guess being in montana nobody made an effort to check the car out. before me, nobody had checked the car out. it has some minimal HG and valve cover gasket leaks, I'll be getting the oil test back pretty soon, but no oil on the ground. I might be putting that subaru coolant. I drove 1700 miles with no overheating, which was my first concern

    I made a road trip in college to pick up a car in New York once. Flew out there with the plan to drive the car back in a weekend. Unfortunately I fragged a transmission in PA and nobody in the state had a Type 9 XR4Ti transmission (big suprise!). The car literally lost every forward gear. It sounded like a pinball machine on the freeway, then gear oil smell, then bad bad whining/grinding, then no 5th, miles later no 4th, pulled off the freeway. By the time we got to a junkyard, it barely moved. We got a ride from the junkyard (who stored the car) to town by the guy from deliverance. lol He had a gun on the front seat of his truck and had like 4 teeth total. My buddy and I rode the greyhound for 19hours home. He was pissed at me. Still have the car though.

    oh man! what an experience! I was kinda paranoid during the whole trip listening to every single noise I could hear.

    anyway, I put those wheels on sale, not the white ones but the brand new grey ones I have.
