Im looing into buying an In Dash DVD player/amplifier. Im just looking for some input from those of you that have one. What do you like/dislike about yours? I was looking at the Pioneer AVH-P3200BT and like everything about it from reviews but learned that you could not stream music through the bluetooth, and thats a key feture I want, along with ipod compatible, but most seem to be. any input would be apreciated!!!! Thanks!!! P.S. idk if this is the right place to post this, it looked the best to me?
Just installed an avic-700bt in my car and it has been solid for the past two weeks. It came with the 2.0 software out of the box and it is much much faster than when the product was first released. Have not used an avh unit, but I imagine the OS is similar. My .02, Pioneer ftw Happy hunting
Do you need navi too? Alexis and i have the Pioneer AVIC-D3 double din units. I was/am very unhappy with the navi feature(disc). The ipod will not charge while it's hooked up, so you have to have a car charger or charge it on your pc. Both pretty lame! I've been using the Garmin when i need navi, lol. I HAD the Pioneer A-1000 before it got jacked out of my car. It charged the ipod while you had it hooked up and the ipod touchscreen control panel was really easy to use...I loved it! I believe that you can blutooth either one with the right accessory, in fact, i think that Lexie has one that she may be willing to sell if you go the Pioneer route. Hope this helps.
Pioneer P3100DVD that I had in my WRX was great. No problems with the iPod or anything. Its since been updated to the P3200 model, but its the same thing and the same price. That's what I'd go with.
