    ...I will be a Subaru owner again :)

    I know, I told myself that I was going to wait on getting another Subaru for a while and I kept that promise to myself for a whole month. Then we had one get traded into our lot that pricewise and conditionwise I couldn't pass it up. So I take delivery of my new baby Friday.

    So, other than Erik, Brian (and the rest of the Minnetonka Subaru crew) and Mike Wagner, who thinks they can guess what I got?

    And Tom is the winner!

    We just had one get traded in, an 01 2.5RS coupe with 52k on the clock. The interior is mint, the exterior is about 95%, I've got a couple of dings to get taken out and a paint scratch to buff out. Belonged to an older couple who had it as a third car. I need to do brakes and a 60k fairly soon, but it drives great. My only complaint (and a minor one at that) is the color. I'm not a huge fan of Silverthorn metallic, but I'll live ;)

    Now I have to start researching the hell out of GC stuff. I don't think I'll be doing much with the motor as there really isn't a whole lot to do without either swapping in cams, valves, etc or swapping out the motor. Suspension is what I really want to go after, and who knows...I may get the urge to have a swap in a year or two.

    I'll give you mine for free. Ordered parts/tools for my truck and got Summit stickers, ordered lug nuts for the WRX (Did I happen to mention that I have Gorilla Nuts?) and got more, ordered lug nuts (not gorilla nuts, but they're black) for the SE-R and got more. Probably have some from ordering my transmission fluids too.

    But I really should put them on my truck. It's a red 93 full-size chebby, and the redneck factor is half the fun of driving it (the other half is watching people get out of my way without even trying. Nobody wants to mess with the guy in the POS truck). Covering it with Summit stickers would just be the icing on the cake.
