DO WANT! The body looks like it's in pretty good shape! The ones I've seen for sale, especially in this area are rusted out real bad. This thread will be a nice reminder that I need to find one before all of them end up in the scrap yard. Awesome work though! It really looks great.
Looks like a blue top, plus I saw the TVIS badge in the intake. Highly recommend a blacktop if you have the cash. Usually you can find one for $800. Totally worth it. Unless your going SR20DET or what I plan to hopefully do and go with a F20C swap.
On a related subject, this showed up on bring a trailer - http://bringatrailer.com/2013/05/26/1983-toyota-celica-gt-s-rally-car/
It would have to be an entire drivetrain swap. I doubt the bell housing would mate up correctly. At that point you might as well swap something else in.
Sweet project you got there man. Be sure to keep us updated with your progress. I can only dream of owning one of those someday.
all items are now in the car Motor/trans shifter radator driveshaft exhaust (no test pipe yet, but the dude that is wiring it is making one for me) all accories are on the motor also i recut the trunk for the cell and that is in for the time being, i am going to start putting the fuel stuff in tonight!

Melissa and i did a bunch of work on the 86 in the garage today! we went to harbor freight and bought some tools and later decided that we should get a space heater to work in the garage, not bad it was about 50* in there with the heater on. here is the motor that i got along with the SR downpipe taking the old turbo and manifold apart SR T25 Turbo Test fitting and the manifold is for a top mounted turbo for a MR car, so i need a new manifold LOOK AT THIS ****ING EAGLE did some cutting of the upper radiator support and now i can take motors in and out by my self!! ( for the other forums) this is one of the vacuum lines off of the back of the intake manifold, and IDK what it goes to a larger vacuum line dose this one go to the breather or the brake booster? on the bottom of the TVIS idk what this vacuum line goes to Lines on the throttle body, Coolant? on the back of the motor, coolant, but it looks like it should be a vacuum line
