I purchased a valve cover gasket kit. Now being that both sides of the motor will be accessible I am thinking that I should do the plug's. Iridium plugs appears to be the plug's of choice?.?.

I see that most say to do a compression test and even 120 ish are good.?.?

Now to address the wires at this time or not?

    Next...
Down pipe time to get a Nuke tune.

No wires. Coil on plug. By all means call NF.

I have not had the clearances checked. The guys at NF are busy with getting all their own cars tip top this month. This is something I want to tackle.

Then use @Nuke for a tune.

Never ever put any plug but iridium in a wrx. Valve clearance is very easy with valve covers off. It decreases with time. Most likely you wont have to change anything. 02 is shim over bucket but without the fancy tool in the maint. manual you take your cams out to change a shim.

Does your car eat oil or af? Performance less than what it should be? A compression test is more for diagnosis of a problem but wont hurt to know the health of the motor. 150 is around what i always got with my subies. it should be Less than 10% difference per hole is more what you want. Compression tester accuracy varys alot so if all #s are close your good. Hold the throttle open when cranking 4-6 bumps of the needle to get it highest.

Dont forget about the plug hole seals. Good luck hope everything goes as planned.
