Where is the cable running, and what is it powering?? if it is the main wire from the batt to the starter, you will need something pretty big. I would guess atleast a 100 amp fuse, but that is only a guess.

I ran 0 awg for my old stereo a while back just cause i got it cheap and running over 2kw rms. I would get yourself an inline ANL fuse holder and a 100 or 150amp ANL fuse. I think the alt only puts out around 90 amps so you should be fine.
www.KnuKonceptz.com is a good cheap place for them. Otherwise ive got ~15ft of 0 awg, ANL fuse holder, and 150amp fuse i would be willing to part with.

The alternator will put out up to about 105amps, but thats not the worrying part. When you start your car it can draw up to 200 amps...not too likely under normal conditions...but your car isn't normal anymore either!!!!!

I would shoot for 150A at the lowest guess.

I'd start low, and play around. It'll cost ya a bit, but you'll know what you're pulling. Unless you've got an ammeter, then just clamp around the line from the battery, start the car, and let it do the rest.

I allready have a anl fuse holder, I will start with 150a and see how that goes. I had a 200a with my stereo system and that blew all the time. but I was running a kicker 1200.1 and a 600x4 amp. With all the stuff in my trunk the subs and amp wont fit any more

I have a 100A in the RS, never been a problem. Too big is not an issue.....as it is only protecting the system from a true short. That will trip a 500A!
