install gathering 12/xx SC for my AMG not subaru related...

I figured i'd throw this out there to see if anyone was interested in helping out and getting a test drive/ride (depending on how cool you are) after we get things running.

I'll be installing HPS Gen I supercharger on my C43 AMG along with a few other goodies (water/meth etc.). My goals are around 350 rwhp and 400 ft./lbs and should be attainable.

the plan is to get the kit on the car basically "stock" and work out the kinks in the early part of december prior to storing the car and stacking money up to add the extra goodies over the winter and into the spring.

i'm thinking it will be pretty fun. although i expect it to be much harder work install/fabrication/time wise than it was to get my wrx moving.

what are the extra goodies you plan for your car? Any suspension, brake, etc work planned.

 

it already has some very serious brakes, 18" amg monoblocks from an sl500 (i downsized from 19s with this install in mind) rather than the stock 17s, eibach/amg suspension bits, and of course my show grade sq/spl stereo system

i go through wheels like every month though, so who knows what will be on it next spring. I've found i can respray curbed AMG offerings and make a bit of a profit very easily (and so i have like 4 sets most of the time)

 

AMG="All my green" terrific parts at astronomical prices.

 

AMG = All Money Gone. I use to work at Mercedes (Feldmanns) so i know the deals

I dont think anyone is ripping on you at all. I personally think your Benz is sick. I would help, but i know very little about car repair and installation. Good luck on the install. I would like to see it turns out.

this is happening this weekend

here is what i posted elsewhere-

will be working all weekend (friday, saturday and probably sunday) on the supercharger installation for the C43.

Will also definitely do a few other small things on friend's cars and try to build that box for the SoloX that we didn't get to last weekend.

I'll be going straight down to this after the mnaudi lunch deal.

There will likely also be much drinking and partying associated later in the evenings.
