Hey guys, I got a 94 impreza and want to attach a version 6 spoiler. any ideas as to the best way to install it, you know making sure it's straight and all. I don't have a template but tired making one. The curvy edges on the spoiler make it real difficult to create any sort of template. Help?

    thanks

you need two pple to install it. By yourself might be a problem cuz you don't want to scratch the paint from the bolts. Good luck

best idea would be to cut out a peice of styrofoam the size of the bottom of the spoiler, tape it to the trunk, set the spoiler where you want it on top of the styro, push down, then drill the holes in the trunk, through the styro, that way you wont get scratches and it will line up

or the simpliest way, trade trunks for one that has predrill holes.

If you must do it, yes; it will be done right if you have help. The more the better. I think 3-4 is optimal. One holds each end of the spoiler and the diagram and one drills. Place the diagram over the trunk and use something to punch in the holes before drilling. A coating of spray paint from the underside of the trunk where you drilled the holes will tremendously prevent rust from forming.
