Which color should I make the gauge lights, hvac, and anything else that lights' up at night?
I own a '06 San Remo Red WRX Limited that has the black/tan two-tone interior

Yeah fill me in on this as well.

I vote amber black and tan and amber. srsly best option. Do you really want UV mixed in with a balk and tan scheme?

    Sincerely the styleguy.

I'm just listing all the available color led bulbs i'm going to use minus the white and the green since white could blind me and i'm getting rid of green

I'm pretty sure this isn't really an option

my opinion is that the red in a red car might be too much
blue would look good, but in black/beige interior?
amber - no one has it for subaru and wouldn't have to mess with the clock and the hvac indicators (just the controls)

    and btw - don't be an @$$ ;)

theoretically if you use super bright led replacement bulbs you don't have to sand off the film

why not get some white dials from pep-boys and call it a day?

    kidding.

I think the cost/risk vs. benefit for going into such a project on such a new/nice car as yours isn't worth it.

    yes, that too.

I just know that I have the fingers of a gorilla and probably the patience of one too.

I couldn't even put my mnsubaru stickers on my car strait and without a bunch of bubbles underneath, I couldn't imagine what kind of damage my man-hands would wreak on the interior of my car if I tried to do this kind of project.

I guess I'm just overly intimidated by what it takes to do all that, considering the benefits would be a pretty light show or whatever.

I tried doing this, and i had a hard time getting a good light pattern out of the LEDs. i switched back to colored normal bulbs and they are very dim now.

here is another writeup on the color change at iclub.
