Invoice price on new VW GTI?

Can anyone get me invoice prices of the new VW GTI? Vehicle and accessories? I don't want to join volksport for $20 to ask them. Any info would be helpful. Its for a friend, dont worry about me leaving my wrx.

 

I was just talking with a co-worder yesterday about this, he was saying it was around 26k.

 

i guess i'm looking for specific numbers. my friend might buy this weekend. just want to be sure he's getting a fair price.

 

inver grove heights is taking $1000 off (thats what the sign said)

 

How to buy a new GTi, fully loaded:

1) bend over

2) explain why you'd like to pay almost STi/evo prices for 200 BHP

3) take it in the rear from VW

4) say "thank you mein herr, may I have another?"

Dude's got bad knees, blew out the left one last november - torn acl pretty bad. so shifting is out of the question. You guys aren't really helping much, but pretty funny.

Rumor have those motors making big numbers with small mods, read something about it yesterday , probably nasioc's OT.

does it come with a wiring diagram and a fire extinguisher?

 

I drove a friend's 2006 GTI on Sunday. He said he paid about $23,900 for it. It was nice but it didn't have nearly the zip of my '06 WRX wagon or even my brother's Anniversary Edition Golf with the computer reflashed. The reflashed Golf goes like a crazy road legal go-kart but breaks loose to easily from a stop without careful use of the gas pedal. Long live AWD!

 

There is a new automatic fire suppression system for dash fires now.
