Anyone interested in my old iPhone 3G?

Looking to get $100 for it. It is 8gb and did a fresh restore as of today 10/22/11. You will need your own SIM card. It is running OS 4.2.1 the last update Apple did for the phone.

Phone is "activated" with my old sim card (got a new one with my new phone). It will need a sim card for service I believe though.

you wont need a new sim just restore the phone to factory settings and it will wipe all data from the phone and sim card

That would only be true is the OP includes the sim card with the phone. If he doesn't include the sim card (I wouldn't), you will need to provide your own sim. T-Mo and AT&T both sell sims to go along with the plan you choose.

wiping the phone will erase nothing from the sim card. The iphones do not save anything to the sim card either. to get the activation message off, you either have to jailbreak it or insert a sim card, otherwise itunes will throw and error saying invalid sim. If you want to use a tmobile sim card you would have to get the phone unlocked. 4.2.1 is easily unlocked. glws they are awesome phones!
