Does anyone know of a place that can repair broken iphone glass screens? I know apple stores do it but they charge $200.

Got it fixed, there's a guy on craigslist that can fix them in like 10 minutes for like $80.

    These things are super fragile.

did he replace the lcd as well, cause it is gonna take longer then 10 mins to seperate the lcd and screen...

hmmm... guess we better keep his number handy then ... ha haa

I met the guy at a coffee shop, and he fixed it right in front of me. It was probably less than 10 minutes.

I must be really lucky with mine. No case, and I've given mine hell. Dead drops onto concrete, flying down the stairs, out of the cupholder and into the door when I think I'm Ken Block sometimes..

I use a Incase brand case on my phone and it has ZERO scratches or chips on it. Its awesome! I also have the same exact blue rubber case in the pictures on the previous page, that thing was pretty good but would get annoying going into my pocket.

If you use alcohol when pulling the screen away from the glass it makes it alot easier. Others have used acetone then washed everything when done and make sure it was completely dry before using.
