02 WRX My Rear View mirror's auto dimming area is way smaller then the whole glass mirror. Is still normal or what? It seems that the dimming area is smaller then when I bought my car. Anybody know whats going on?
It sounds like only part of his mirror is dimming now. It's on it's way out Kong. Mine did that for awhile, the area got smaller and smaller until it stopped working all together. I still haven't replaced it b/c they're too damn expensive. And I figured, if I buy a used one, it will fail eventually, so I just live with it.
It almost looks like moisture on the mirror when you look at it in 'dim mode'. When it dims, it doesn't dim all the way out to the edges like they do when new.
