For those in the know, is there going to be MNSOC in 2011?? I have had a few people asking about membership renewals and if there are any planned MNSOC events for this year. At this point, I am not a part of MNSOC or even know if MNSOC still exists, so if anyone knows anything, please chime in so everyone can read about it, or I know so I can pass the info along to those that ask. I would really doubt it. I don't think any of those guys have done anything since. Who all was left? Tony, Derek and Nate?
Yeah I wasn't there when the whole "MNSOC is done" decision was made. Don't throw me in that bucket. I was trying to do stuff for the forum/club, then found out 3rd hand that it was all over. I in no part was there to decide to drop it all or keep it going. All I ever said was I was willing to help... by this I am thinking about the community we have here. Personally I think MNSOC was a cool idea, but there are too many haters. It is just easier to do nice things, fun things, group things on a private level on this forum. It is sad but true... maybe it was too many chefs making the cheeseburger??? maybe it was lack of direction or goals??? maybe it was just bad blood and personal issues.... either way.... I am with Sheen, I believe it is dead and nothing every happened after you guys decided it should stop.
FYI - "You guys" is whoever was at the meeting, I wasn't there so I am not sure. I should add that I personally enjoyed working with everyone and thank you for the good stuff we did get done.
My thoughts are the same as Derek's. I was at the final meeting, and didn't want to see it go away, but there was a lack of enthusiasm to keep it going. Never did understand why so many hated on it either. As for who's still in it, just Tony as far as I know. You'll need to contact him directly, since I don't think he comes here hardly anymore.
