So i've been looking to sell the wagon and get a Impreza L. And I finally sold the wagon the buyer is picking it up thurs. So i found this L about a month ago and REALLY want it it think its a good deal. The oil light and hesitation just have me a bit concerned (but i don't know if they could be major problems that = major $$ repairs.) Let me know what you think of this car. i would probably offer him 2300 becuase i would have to fly out and get it plus he has had it up there for a bit. (I figured that a plane ticket is around $500 and gas would equal at most $200 so 700+2300= good deal for this car??) Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciatied. Thanks a ton!

I'd say try to find something local, thats a lot of hassle for a used L.

very clean under the hood and no rust is always nice! I would want to fly out and drive it at least, so you don't have the chance to get totally screwed.

Why are you buying this car if you can't work on it?

I'm not saying I can't fix it. I've just never done those repairs on a car and was just wonder if they were tough also I was looking for any input on if either of those issues might be something major. But thanks for helpful advice

The oil pressure sender is right under the alternator. One wire plugs into it.

If the IAC valve is dirty, its not the end of the world. It might idle funny but you can drive it. Its a bit of a pain since there are coolant lines to and from it.

O2 sensor. If its bad, you get a little worse mileage, but it will still run fine.

Thank you! Sir thats all i needed to know. I just wanted to make sure the things he was saying weren't going to lead to major problems or repairs. I'm 90% sure im gonna get this car becuase i have been looking all over the midwest for a L and have found a few but almost all of them are auto's and i kinda want a 5mt (not a huge deal) but this has relatively low milage and the price seems very good. Most ones i've found around here are about 2-3K but they all seem to have +140K miles.
