Ok, I went to Sprint yesterday, my phone which was a Samsung MM-A920 was resetting itself, losing all my contacts, settings, etc. The tech looked at the phone, determined it was not repairable and said I would get a replacement.

They then found out that the phone I had was discontinued, so they gave me a new phone.

I have full coverage insurance on my plan, which usually I have to pay $50 for a replacement phone.

They gave me a Samsung M500. It has all the same options as my other one, except there is no flash (like those really do anything anyways on a cell phone).

I feel kind of ripped off, because this phone costs less then the one I had previously... but then again I don't because I didn't have to pay a penny for a brand new phone.

Here are the links to the two phones....I called and complained but they said this was the phone that would be the closest to my previous one, without having to pay anything for it, or sign up for another 2 years.

    OLD MM A920

    NEW SPH-M500

count yourself lucky. I won't bore you with all the details but it involved 4 phones and a call to the better business bureau, and T-mobiles executive office before they finally resolved my situation. And this is after I did purchase a brand new phone and re-sign on for an additional 2 year contract.
(I might also mention that I had been a loyal customer since 1999.)
