i need some new struts for my 04 wrx.
do these work?
for some reason i am confused my their wording.
i bought new springs in the fall, so can i buy these and some new tophats and be good?

I believe if you get these, you'll need to reuse the stock housings. If that's the case, let me know because I have stock struts laying around that I could give you a good deal on.

 

Koni Yellows are a great option if you have a 02-07. Loved them in my old bugeye. They are not "bolt in".

awww okay that what i thought but picture (i know i know it is not of actual product) threw me off.
looks like a bit more work that i want to do.

That is still the inserts. Koni only sells "inserts" for the WRX and you have to cut stock struts apart and slide the koni's in the body of the stock struts. Its relatively easy to do though it may seem daunting.

They are one of the only non-coilover adjustable strut options out there. The other big one is Tokico but they have recently become difficult to source.
