I had to transfer my internals to another block. Look up my previos threads.

Thanks guys. It was painful, but she runs now.

Tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, I'll be putting some serious miles on this beotch. For the ice race, naturally.

Hmm, as far as I know, Cobb only works with their AccessPort, which is not my Link Plus. So no off-the-shelf Cobb maps for me, or from anybody for that matter.

Where do you here this crap? And you really believed I could have run Cobb stage 1 table for this long on my setup?

lmao how could you directly copy over load-based tables over to a speed density-based tuning platform and expect the car to even start?!?

If you are smart enough to figure out how to transform load over to a rough base level for boost, then you would be smart enough to tune the damn thing in the first place. lol!

yes he did a while back, it's just that I didn't have EVERYTHING in like turbo inlet, MAF sensor,..... so when I put it in, the car wasn't running right. NOW with everything in, I decided to put it in to see if what happens. I was hesitant at first, but when I did a WOT pull in 3rd, OMFG, it was smooth and had awesome torque!!! That is until I hit his 4500rpm rev limiter that he set....lolz

You car was running like ass because the MAF wasn't plugged in. The MAF is probably either the most or 2nd most (maybe next to the crank position sensor) important sensor in the car.

it runs MUCH stronger w/o it plugged in. hahaahaa DEFAULT mode runs richer and safer! lolz
BUT with this custom map, the car creeps to about 12psi. The Cobb VF39 map w/ rescaled injectors creeped to 15psi at redline. Both maps still running richer than 11.25 a/r.

pffft, maf sensors are for weenies :kekekaugh:

Depending on what I end up doing over spring break, I might make the trip to P&L, or rent some dyno time from Ron, I don't know. It just really sucks that the dyno down here at MNSU is a two wheel. It seriously makes me debate getting a 2wd tranny just for that.

I'm referring the dyno we have at mankato state. Ron's is a 4 wheel, and he said I could rent it from him for around $100 an hour.

true, and the readings are all lame, since no one will fix the damn thing. Also, I believe the inductive pickup for RPM still doesn't work, so rpm's are all off. It would be free dyno time though.

I stole Derek's extra 22T block, and had it bored for my pistons. The machine shop said they could have fixed it, but I would have had to completely tear it down anyways. That and all the threads for the head stud/bolts are now suspect, so I'd want all of them replaced, which would end up being alot more expensive than puching out 4 cylinders.

I might make the trip to Jorge over spring break. We'll see.

****, bodywork is easy. I just choose to not do it right now. I have a brand new set of painted fenders hanging from the wall, and a mint hood and doors at my disposal. Do I care? Not really.

You talk like looks matter more than anything, since you've been doggin me about the bodywork since day one. In actuality, its fun to romp on people who think,"what is this piece of crap..."

Its been made very apparent that your opinion carries zero weight, so why do you bother :dunno:

His car is the ultimate sleeper. If I could trade my car's perfect (besides that ****ing deer incident...) body, for piddsters Turbo and Tranny, I'd do it in a second. Sleepers FTW!
