I ordered the 2.4in Inlet for painless installation hopefully.

Now this, with external wastegate setup.

 

Are you going to have a bracket made to hold the wastegate shut?

I rather do that, then welding it shut.

 

let us know if you need a custom bracket made for that wastegate

 

I will let you know. Originally I was just going to go IWG but I met this guy at the last rockfalls sport compact event with a 04-05sti running a regular fp green w/ewg and it kind of changed my mind. I may try out the IWG first I was hoping grimmspeeds ewg kit's bracket could be used to hold this one shut also but I guess not.

 

Just get an EWG and get it over with.

 

Do you think I just need the custom bracket or the whole up-pipe custom?

 

You'll need something to close the wastegate shut (some weld it shut, some have a bracket made to hold it shut, I recommend the bracket)

And you'll need an uppipe with an ewg flange and an ewg.

 

Doesn't Grimmspeed's EWG Kit come with a bracket to hold it shut?
