It's official...I have a new work number....

    My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
    ...and that number is "911". I found out today that I got the dispatch job in Bloomington, I'll be starting on August 1st. I'll be at Morries until the end of the month, and there is a possibility I may still be with them, although in a different capacity. I'm really excited, I'll be making close to double what I was at Morries, with better benefits and more excitement. Not that helping you guys wasn't exciting, it just doesn't get the blood going quite like that kind of work. I beat out over 40 people for the job, so I'm pretty stoked. As far as I know, the discount isn't going anywhere, and I'll still be able to answer most questions for you guys, but it might take a couple extra days...Anyway, I thought I should let you guys know.

    Thanks for the kind words guys...No, I wouldn't recommend calling me at work for anything other than a genuine emergency since those calls get taped and reviewed. I am looking forward to a much increased budget though...Time to start house hunting :)

    lots of houses in my neck of the woods. I live in Bloomington, about a mile from the city center. Maybe some day ill work with you. I work for Eden Prairie currently for the IT dept but i would love to work for bloomington since it is walking distance! Good luck with the job. I can tell you that most stick with it and love it. And as an IT guy, my number one job is to be at the call of dispatch... gotta love those 3am pages cuz something isnt working right for you!
