It's official

The only things Subaru I own anymore are a handful of oil filters, one jug of coolant, a driver's side bugeye headlight and the 3x5 banner in my garage. Car is gone.

Ted (Gridlocked), if you do your own oil changes I'll just dump a handful of filters/washers off at your place the next time I drive by (early May).

Dunno, but Ted gets first dibs ('cause we're old pals and I drive by his place on a regular basis).

I think that pretty much all of the Subaru filters are the same, but I'm not 100% sure.

I'll miss the WRX, but I hardly ever drove it anymore. Hard to watch it just sit and depreciate and pay for insurance.

The H6 is the 6-cylinder available in the Legacy, Outback (3.0L) and standard in the Tribecca (3.6L?). H4 is the rest of the 4-cyl Subies.

I thought of that, but at least the one we used at BIR wasn't a Subaru filter and I figured you had your preferred brand. I switched to Mobil 1 filters when Subaru started selling me these dinky little things to replace the nice big Purolator filters they had been selling the first couple of years after I bought the car.

And when I wrote that I didn't know I was going to be at your place this weekend. So there.

I'll see how many I really have. If I only have 2-3 I'll drop 'em with Ted. If I've got more I'll bring a few with.

Anything you want me to bring up? Despite having only the vaguest clue how to weld, I do actually have a fair amount of wire of various sizes and a decent sized CO2 cylinder should things run low on Sat. Figure I'll bring my hood and gloves at a minimum so I can hold and watch.
