Jan 11: Quattro Club Ice Driving Event @ Lake Cynthia. Who's going?

Just wondering who's going to be there? I'm new to the Sube world, (ex-veedubber) so I haven't met many people yet. Come say hi to me if you'll be there!

It's well worth the $60 bucks. It's WAY more seat time than at a standard rally-x, auto-x, ice- auto-x, etc. When I went last time in my rally rabbit, they had 3 courses. A circle skid pad, a big 1/4 mile oval with slaloms on the straight-aways, and a big 1 mile 20+ turn course that was timed.

You're almost always either driving, or in line waiting to drive

oh i'm not saying its not worth it. if I wasnt pinching pennies I'd be there in a heartbeat!

 

Holy crap, that looks fun and $60 is a steal for a day of ice driving so close to the cities. If I wasn't out of town this weekend, I'd be there.

I'm hoping to do all of them, since I'm moving to a warm-weather climate, so this is my last winter!

I am tentative on going. I need a new helmet. I plan to be there for the Jan 24th and the feb events.

Anybody know a local place to buy a helmet?

I went out to take pics, but the first thing I saw when I arrived was those wheels. Good heavens man.
