That sounds pretty damn cool! i take it more of an ice cross style thing though right? one car out at a time? Maybe give us a deal at the resort and we could crash for the night.
That sounds like too much fun. Post a date and I'll make arrangments. Any idea on cost, etc. I know your just guaging but that info goes a long way towards making plans. Count me in, I wanna go somewhere and unwind the Uber Scoob. Say, I got some tires over at Anderson Motorsports and they mentioned a winter driving/ice driving clinic they run some time in Feb. I have the info out in my car but I was wondering if anyone had heard about it.
I am interested in doing some ice racing, if we can run one car at a time. I don't have a snowmobile anymore though. Maybe I can throw the studded tires on my dirt bike if I can find a way to haul it up there.
sounds fun as hell. my fatherin law has a sled i could maybe borrow. not sure though, i'd have to have my lovely wife, my soulmate, my dearest love make sure it does not conflict with anything.
Yes its just 1 car at a time I dont think it would be too safe doing 2 cars side by side, It would probably be in late February, I could get you guys a cabin for around$20 a night per person, maybe less depending on how many come and If you guys would stay 1 or 2 nights, It would probably be better to come up late Friday so you could get thing unloaded and have a few drinks or something, Rich
sounds like fun. i will have to see how i am doing on funds at that time of year, to see if i can make it or not. i can see just how goo dmy all season are on ice. (good reason to run 1 at a time lol)

I have it in my calender to go, but with the planning of my wedding for next summer and all the planning is being done in Perham, MN I can not make promises as of yet. I will keep you up dated as the date gets closer.

I am interested... will run normal tires.... ha ha ha hey they work on the street in winter so on a lake no traffic lights to hit...
I havnt really made any plans on the layout, if anyone wants to draw up a course I will try and make it, it will be around a mile long
if some one draws up the course, pls keep in mindn that not everyone will be running ice tires. (ie dont make insane corners that can only be made w/ studdedtires!)
why you should match one of the courses around here so we can get some practice on learning the course. ei, brainerd, dctc, stcloud
i just messed around on paint and came up with this. theres a couple of quik corners so we could throw our cars around and theres still some higher speed areas

dynapar...LOL...looks quite familiar...supo ide say take discopopes, pull out the center boot section to make the whole thing a little more round.
id rather show cornering ability, i like my track because its open, discos is good but some of the corners are almost touching and that could cause problems
