Noah, there are plenty of old school Japanese rear wheel drive car. You were still in diaper at the time those cars were roaming the streets...

    Here's a short list:

    Nissan 180SE, 200SE, 240Z (SX,SE), 280ZX and 300ZX as well as the early Maxima's were RWD.
Early Toyota Corolla, Celica, Supra (always RWD) and Cressida, MR2. These are just a few that came to mind... There's more but what ever you're looking for, good luck.

If you want one in good shape... you're better off looking for them in the southern parts of the U.S.

Lue grew up in the Initial D era so he's missing out on all the other great RWD cars. All he know is the Hachiroku :D

Yeah, I'm looking for a RWD car that I can still find parts for, isn't impossible to work on, is a manual, and has some pretty decent and tunable stock power.

    That should narrow it down.
I can only find auto Supra's.
I really dig the old RX-7's
    I'm looking at some 240SX's

Now what of those you named>Vic?

    What about a 1981 Datsun 280zx???
    for $1200.

    Thanks,
    Noah

Well basically any RWD cars can drift. But I guess some Eibachs and some KYB AGX Dampers or Eibachs and Tokikos Dampers well do nice for drifting. But I rather go with Teins, Kei's Office, Tanabe, HKS Coilover suspensions, sms.
