I Figured I would throw out the oppourtunity on here for this position. I am looking for 1 possibly 2 sales producers for a new agency being placed in Maplewood. Hours daily will either be 8:30-5:30 or 10:30-7:30. Must be able to get or currently have a MN P&C license, Life & Health would be great, but is not required. Having a previous sales background is a MUST! PM with any question. Jeff
I'm curious. What's the insurance company the "producer" will be selling for? What's expected of the person to generate business? Does the position require making cold calls or market the business with own money? And how is the pay managed?
Great questions. The company is Allstate, without going into full disclosure, generating business will be mostly be an internal database as well as daily fresh walk ins. No use of your own money, unless you want to. If you have good marketing ideas that you want to try, if budget allows I will work something out. Pay is a base salary with a comm. plan plus bonuses.
Things have been moving slowly with the new office, however I will be doing interview next week. Bump this up and see what happens
Are you looking for any other kind of producers? I have a gopro and was an executive producer of some "adult films"
This is true, I have never been accused of being quiet! lol Most people learn to tune me out after a while.
That's how a trust fund kiddie with questionable work history would go about such a job, so I guess there's that. I mean, they'd be terrible at it and summarily terminated in relatively short order for wholesale incompetence, but I bet that's how they'd do it.
Very politely, do you work there or something? yeah i was just curious, i have a couple of people on fbook who always try to sell insurance
So selling your boyhole for free car washes is what passes for a real job these days?! Good for you pal.
