getting his @ss whooped by a c5 with full exhaust spraying a 150 shot. and to only catch him at 100, thats insane! I was there that night behind joe. Yes a c5 with all that should beat an STi with full exhaust mbc, and new clutch! this whole thing about nitrous in joes car is un-true. I have seen joes cars so many time under the hood, and there is no like going in anywhere that would feed it, unless its on the underside of the compressor of the turbo!!!!!! and there is nothing in his trunk or under his floor. there are no braided lines, going into his engine bay period.

He drives very very well. and a corvette is just plain fast after 30!

From my understanding this is a standard WRX with mods to STi standard?? could be worng... anywyas.. the tap out would be more he didnt want to run up the arse of the tahoe maybe?? considering that AWD lose a lot at the start he SMOKED.. yes SMOKED the vette from the lights all the way to the tapping of the brakes... so did the Vette use the 100 shot cause if he did he wasnt too much faster than the Subaru with the NOS then... NO the Vette isnt a peice of crap.. tehy are nice cars.. but for half the price and almost as good performance up to 100mph (in the video) then give me 2 STis with change anyday....

If the C5 was running a 150 shot at WOT then he's got 500hp, and since they were rolling starts, he could use it without melting his tires. That's why he won.

But the race from the stop showed what AWD on the launch does because JoeGensta owned the C5 at the beginning. That was nice.

You can't beat horsepower in a straight line... unless it's snowing. :lol:

He does, dont let him fool you. A STi with just an exhaust and a blow off valve + boost controller isnt going to hang with a modded C5 like that. Whenever I see his STi I hear "tick tock tick tock" its only a matter of time. And dont get my wrong, Joe is a very cool guy, but he lies about his setup.

I have also heard that Gengsta runs NOs, ive heard it from a couple of people, but they both said that not many people know about it or something, but i wouldnt doubt he is running it, because with the mods he has it just doesnt make sense, sorry joe lol

Actually, that's just like how I wanted mine setup. Except, maybe behind the dash or something since it'll probably only be 4 2lb bottles. Then port it under the intake manifold, hide the solenoids and 8) nobody friggin knows but you.

The only problem I have with nitrous is that, if I pay $500 for something I want power for as long as that part'll live, $h!t I could almost buy half a GT30R for $500, and not have to go refill the damn bottles every night.

 

How much is the refill on No2 anyways?

 

i was talking with joe a while back about nos and he knew exactly how much it cost, so that kinda made me think he had it also, he said roughly 500 for the setup like someone said, and then 40 bucks for a refill, but i donno where someone would refil around here, maybe RS?

 

Here is the exact mod list of the vette from the owner. Air filter, cat back, 100 wet shot of n20 not 150, and as far as the dig races go the vette has worn out bfg ta's and they do not hook until top of second, and a dig is basically pointless with that power out of the hole, and the vette did not cost twice as much as the sti, it was 16,700 so half the sti price rather !!!

i know hes a mod, but the guys i heard the rumors from said he hangs out with someone alot that drives a mitsu, and i sort of remember someone who posts on here alot drives an evo, and since dream seemed to know alot about joes car i just guessed i donno, i dont think dream minded my honest mistake but i hope i didnt offend anyone
