    Yeah, but the same thing happened when the WRX came out. It was a real hub-bub because you got one year membership to the SCCA free with the purchase of the WRX. I don't think Subaru actively searched for people participating(which may or may not be what's happening with Mits), but if it became known that you did, the warantee was voided.

    Mits is in a serious financial hurt locker right now though. Remember all those "No Interest, no payments" promos they were having? Well, it seem they gave out cars to too many...uhhh... bad investments.

    Too bad, the Evo is one serious car and I'd hate to see it disappear.

    That suck..what is the use of buying a new car (Evo or STI)if you
    can't go to the track..... :(! ahhhh...look like I may have to get
    a subaru instead...

    get the subaru...be happy....

    and that sucks.....what good is buying a performance car if you can't use it for what it's for...
