Joined 250+ Mph club today

    Took a very short ride on the Maglev Train from Pudong airport today.

    Wow it felt really interesting.

    431 Kph or 268 Mph

    airplanes go over 250 mph...:)
    so I'm guessing that you where a member already.

    Hahh got me there.

    Almost the same if the airplane was doing it 4" off the ground, and turning.

    yup they are magnetic. maglev=magnetic levitation

    Nice Its really late and I'm tired, the edit was funny kinda like saying "Duhhh"

    You would love it, it takes a about 4 minutes to get up to speed then 2 minutes at speed then decel to stop for the station 8 minute ride for 40km. The track is banked on the curves and you can really feel the turn.

    There have been "plans" for these things in the US for a number of years now. Too bad nobody seems compelled to invest or push the projects forward.

    Yeah, the Maglev name didn't make that little light go *ding* right away. It was morning afterall, lol.
