Well, my girl and I are toying with the idea of comming up to MN for the 4th of july. Any rituals, or plans going on? we kinda were thinking about camping. Hopefully spend a little time looking at houses. who knows. Post up what you all are up to for the 4th.:cheers2:
I'm going to Chicago to blow stuff up with some old college friends. I'll wave at you on 94 (Hi Homeland security, I'm refering to fireworks)
ill be on tonka jetskiing during the day and tonka gettin drunk for the fireworks upon arrival of moonlight.
If you're going camping, reserve your spot NOW. That's a busy weekend! If you need campground recommendations, I know a couple great campgrounds in the metro area. (or beyond)
I'll be working Rescue that night...If anyone is planning on blowing a hand off and would like to be treated by someone you know, just stop by Golden Valley
heading up north...have to pick up the older of the munchkin's at Grandma's house...Grandma (a.k.a. Stick's Mother-In-Law) wants her oil changed...then fireworks...Crosby???CrossLake???Aitkin??? I guess I will have to see who is going to have them....oh, yeah...being at my parents....alcohol will be involved
I'm going to be sitting in my backyard, lighting off illegal fireworks and getting wasted. Then, the city shoots their fireworks off about 100 yards from my backyard, so I'll watch those. Then, I'll likely light off more fireworks while all the city folk scatter and clog up the streets trying to get home from the city fireworks. Also, more drinking.
Going to my cabin with a big group of fiends. Shooting off my stash that i've been building for a month or so!!! Price tag will be 4 digits by next trip to........ a different state. i LOVE fireworks. Hope everyone else has a good 4th too!
well, if we come, pm me a list of "things" anyone might want from indiana. certain "things" are legal there, and only about a 30 minutes drive for me.
Nice area! Ill be in Crosslake as well, my family owns a house right in Moonlight Bay across the street from the firestation.
I'll be sending a sympathy card to my friends in the UK--"better luck next time"--and the usual park point drunken fire works viewing.
No worries brother, but we appreciate the offer. Wisconsin is 10 minutes from my house, and the fireworks there are plenty big enough to be served a warrant.
I take it they are doing fireworks there? I would hate to disappoint the munchkins...plus my parents are bringing home their friends kids from Canada...gotta have them see a good show of fireworks
They do fireworks out on the island every year, not sure what day they are doing them this year. They typically put on a pretty decent firework show thats for sure.
It's a 4 day weekend for us, so we might be going up to the cabin. Whatever happens, drinking will be part of the plans.
